Analysis of participation success under Horizon Europe in Space calls is presented here.

This data analysis could be useful for broadening participation in Space calls for all participants.

About the Filters: The graphs can be filtered using two types of filters: horizontal tabs and vertical bar one the left side.

Horizontal tabs: Located just below, these tabs let you choose between two categories: Cluster 4 Calls and EUSPA Calls. Selecting one will show graphs related only to that type of call. Next are tabs showing the years in which the calls were published, and you can select more tabs at once. Click All calls to reset these filters.

Vertical bar: On the left side, you can refine the results even more using three groups of filters. Click on INFO button to see more details about filters.

Country groups are:

  • Old EU member states (EU 14) : AT, BE, DK, FI, FR, DE, EL, IE, IT, LU, NL, PT, ES, SE.
  • New EU member states (EU 13) : BG, HR, CY, CZ, EE, HU, LV, LT, MT, PL, RO, SK, SI.
  • Associated countries (AC) : AL, AM, BA, FO, GE, IS, IL, XK, MD, ME, MK, NO, RS, TN, TR, UA.
  • Widening countries (WD) : AL, AM, BA, BG, CY, CZ, EE, EL, FO, GE, HR, HU, LV, LT, MA, MD, ME, MK, MT, PL, PT, RO, RS, SI, SK, TN, TR, UA, XK.

Shows total number of projects per country, split into two bars, purple bar shows number of projects where specific country participated as coordinator, while orange bar shows number of participants per country in Horizon Europe calls.

Highlights types of funding recipients, grouped by categories set by the European Commission. This filter often can't be combined with country groups.
