The European Space Policy Institute – ESPI – provides decision-makers with an informed view on mid- to long-term issues relevant to Europe’s space activities. In this context, ESPI acts as an independent platform for developing positions and strategies.
The Autumn Conference is a yearly ESPI event where space policy, agency and industry stakeholders come together to discuss issues that affect Europe and the rest of the world.
This year’s Autumn Conference will address the topic of “The post-2030 European Space Agenda” to discuss ways to shape Europe’s space strategy for the decades to come. A particular focus will be placed on topics identified as key challenges for the future of Europe and the world and on the role that space can and must play in overcoming them.
The fourteenth Autumn Conference will span across one week (28th of September – 2nd of October), with one panel every day from 15:30 to 17:00 CEST. It will be organised along the following five sessions:
Space and the European Green Deal – Harnessing space for a greener future
Streaming, 5G/6G, Internet of Things – Space in the future of connectivity
Space: a relevant tool for the changing security landscape
A new impetus to Europe’s international cooperation in space
