The next event in the Copernicus Thematic Workshop series is planned for March 17 2023 (full day), on the topic of Energy. The workshop will be held in hybrid format: online on the event platform and in the auditorium in the Breydel building (Av. d’Auderghem 45), Brussels, for the onsite part.

The sessions of the workshop are:

• Welcome and policy context
• Session 1: Renewable energy production: planning, operations and investments
• Session 2: Energy transmission and distribution in Europe (including energy security)
• Session 3: Energy efficiency, emissions and environmental impact
