Fundamental Elements Industry Days Workshop

EUSPA’s funding mechanism Fundamental Elements has opened a new call looking to support the development of a hybrid terminal for connectivity for ground-breaking devices.

As the number of connected devices is growing exponentially and the importance of locating “things” is increasing, it is no longer relevant for the asset to locate itself but for the solution owner to locate all assets at the same time with minimal total power drain. In this context, integrating Terrestrial Networks (TN) and Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) has the potential of connecting the unconnected and enhancing the user experience for the already-connected devices, with technological and societal implications of the greatest long-term significance.

The call’s maximum budget is set to 3 M€ and the indicative number of projects to be awarded is four.
