€16.5M EUSPA Procurement “Make it with Space” to Boost Commercial Uptake of EU Space Solutions

The European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA) has launched a new €16.5 million downstream procurement scheme titled Make it with Space, aimed at accelerating the commercialisation of mature EU space solutions across non space sectors.

This demand driven initiative focuses on bridging the gap between supply and demand by supporting close to market solutions at TRL 7 to 9 based on Galileo, EGNOS and Copernicus. Rather than a grant, this is a procurement scheme through which EUSPA will contract companies to deliver services that integrate existing EU space solutions into new markets and onboard new end users. The objective is to overcome the last mile barrier and generate sustainable commercial relationships beyond the duration of the project.

The Procurement Documents are available at the following link: EU Funding & Tenders Portal.

The action will be implemented through a multiple framework contract with a total ceiling of €16.5 million and a maximum duration of 48 months. The first specific contract, worth €4 million, will cover ten downstream application areas. A strong emphasis is placed on the participation of SMEs, startups and new entrants, with at least 40 percent of subcontracting to be awarded competitively.

The deadline for submission of tenders is 16 April 2026, with evaluation expected to be completed in September 2026. To support interested applicants, EUSPA is organising a dedicated webinar on 26 February 2026 and will present the opportunity during the EUSPA Industry Days in Prague on 17 to 18 March 2026.
