New space topic focused on the development of Galileo PRS Service Applications for Authorised Use Cases will open soon!
Topic HORIZON-EUSPA-2023-SPACE-01-44: The Galileo PRS service for governmental authorised use cases (IA) which focuses on the development of innovative applications for the Galileo Public Regulated Service (PRS), specifically targeting authorised civilian users, is already published on Funding and Tender Opportunities Portal and will open on July 9, 2024.
The Galileo PRS is an encrypted navigation service for governmental authorised users and sensitive applications that require high continuity. This initiative aims to leverage PRS technology to create robust, secure applications that address the unique needs of government-authorised communities.
Proposals are expected to build on previous exploratory activities, integrating lessons learned to stimulate the downstream uptake of PRS. A key focus is fostering European-level cooperation among industrial entities to enhance the development of these applications. The scope includes identifying, designing, and creating applications that overcome technical, operational, and security barriers, with a particular emphasis on continuity of service and access control.
Proposals should involve representatives of potential user communities to ensure the developed applications meet operational needs and provide substantial added value.
The call for proposals will open on July 9, 2024, and will close on September 5, 2024, at 17:00 Brussels time.
